The Laboratories in Ludvika is a unique accredited test facility for high voltage products. It includes high power, high current, mechanical, surge arrester and power capacitor testing labs.
Its main purpose is to perform high quality testing both in the development of new products and in certification of the products for a global market. A large variety of non-routine electrical test procedures implies that health and safety is a critical area.
You will be leading a world-wide accredited organization.
Your responsibilities
Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the laboratories
Ensure that the facilities are properly organized with clear roles and responsibilities
Develop your people and lead by empowerment and trust
Strive for diversity of thought to conquer todays and tomorrow’s challenges
Ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness
Your background
You hold a University Degree in Engineering or similar
At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role of manufacturing, laboratory or testing unit
Expertise and knowledge from managing production plans, testing plans, Lean certifications, and similar mindset
The role requires great leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Since you will work in a global environment, fluency in English is required, both written and spoken
