Laboratory Assistant

We are looking to hire a Laboratory Assistant for an assignment in Uppsala.Key performance areasPreparation of chemical solutions for Quality Control Chromatography Analysis, for example salt solutions (buffert solutions). The work requires a high amount of own initiative since the solutions must be prepared in advance, according to a complex planning list.Your profileThe successful candidate has a BSc in Chemistry or at least two years of chemical studies at university level, preferably combined with relevant work experience. Hands-on laboratory experience is merited. You show ability to independently plan and prioritize between given assignments and you’re a fast learner who is able to contribute with just a few days’ introduction and on-site education.Good communication and social skills are vital and we expect well rounded computer skills.Languages: Swedish is a must. Bachelor of Science in chemistry or similar, Hands on laboratory experience is a plus.
