Job description
A new clinical laboratory in Solna has opened up with the purpose to increase the national capacity for analysis of Covid-19 infection. The lab is located at Biomedicum, Campus Solna, offering state of the art facilities. ABC Labs is now expanding and looking for a couple of laboratory assistants.


Areas of responsibility
The role consists of assisting the laboratory technicians, mainly by preparing samples for analysis by sorting and documenting them. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace as well as making sure that the inventory of supplies is neatly organized.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is readily available to work during late evening- and night shifts. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree within natural sciences. Feeling comfortable working in a clinical lab environment is a prerequisite. Experience of PCR and ELISA techniques is meritting.

To enjoy this position it is important that you like spending time at the lab and are willing to work shifts and weekends. You feel comfortable with independently planning and documenting your work. You appreciate the importance of teamwork and it is therefore important that you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. As a person you are structured and communicative. Since the lab is relatively newly started it is good if you like to be part of improvement processes.
