Overview
We are looking for 4 Laboratory Engineers to work within assigned projects/activities, responsible for the evaluation (planning, testing, analysis, conclusion and recommendation of results) of new and existing products and/or materials to meet consumer and business needs.

2 permanent positions (1 with focus on Fiber technology )
1 temporary position for 11 months
1 temporary position until 31 of January with a chance to be prolonged.



Main accountabilities and responsibilities
Evaluate (plan, test, analyze, conclude and recommend) new or existing product, pack and/or material performance as laboratory expert in innovation projects and other activities, such as value engineering and quality improvements. The participation in projects/activities can be of different levels – as consultant or as project team member
Translate product design parameters to measurable properties with relevant test methods, equipment and procedures in the most cost efficient way
Develop, evaluate and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs
Maintain a very good knowledge about internal and external test methods in own area
Participate in basic R&D projects to deliver on the R&D platforms and improve state of readiness for future innovation projects
Perform deep analysis of competitor products within own area
Work according to procedures and instructions in the laboratory quality system and in the working environment plan

Experience & Education
You need to have a Bachelor degree, preferable within chemistry
It’s a plus if you have a couple of years of experience from working in a laboratory
Fluent in English, written and spoken is a must
Confidence to present results in front of more senior colleagues

Furthermore we would like you to have a creative mindset. You are precise, productive and result oriented. You know the importance of meeting deadlines. You need to be able to travel 1-2 weeks at a time every now and then.
For some of the position is it a merit to have experience from

Fiber technology and analysis, especially from pulp and paper or textile industries
