Material Analysis, a team within D&E Materials and Package, leads Material analysis for Development activities as well as After Launch activities and Market Support. Being the center of expertise for Material analysis in Tetra Pak, we provide solutions and capabilities for Polymer and Al-foil-, Paper and Packaging Material-, Sensory Analysis worldwide.
We are now looking for a curious and quality focused Laboratory Engineer with specialty in Microscopy and Image analysis to join our Material analysis team in Lund.
What you will do
As our new Laboratory Engineer you will perform hands on analysis in a lab environment, summarize and conclude results and report back and discuss the results with our internal clients.
You will focus on:
• Engaged in planning and prioritization of work together with your colleagues
• In discussions with internal clients recommend the most suitable analysis to be performed
• Prepare samples and perform analysis with our different lab instruments
• Evaluate results and deliver accurate and structured reports
• Discuss results with internal clients
• Participate in and support test method development
• Drive and support continuous improvement activities
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Limited travel may be required (less than 10%).
Who you are
We believe that you have a strong drive for problem solving, results and accuracy. You are passionate about lab analysis, technology and sustainability. You communicate well, can work independently as well as easily collaborating with colleagues and internal clients. You have a strong commitment towards quality, and you approach your tasks with a high analytical perspective. You are good at managing time planning and working towards deadlines but also flexible and can quickly shift focus if required.
To be successful in this position you have experience from laboratory analysis with specialty in Microscopy and Image analysis. Experience also from X-ray & SEM analysis is preferred. You have a technical science background and a relevant university degree within e.g. science and engineering or significant experience in relevant field. You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
