Laboratory Engineer

We are now seeking a Laboratory Engineer to Nouryon Performance Formulations in Stenungsund.
As a Laboratory Engineer you will perform chemical analyses of samples collected from from lab experiments and pilot plant runs and lab synthesis experiments to investigate chemical processes. Further you will provide experimental support e.g. to Production, Q&EC laboratory and QTS. Additional responsibilities within this role involves contribution to RD-projects.
Main responsibilities
Execute experimental tasks in research projects and report results
Contribute with ideas to projects and work requests
Perform experiments and assist in evaluating and reporting experimental results
Participate in the RD&I Laboratory’s HSE work
Cooperate and communicate closely with the RD&I laboratory manager
Provide support to Production, Q&EC laboratory and QTS

Qualifications
B.Sc. in chemistry or 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in preparatory laboratory techniques including high-pressure chemistry, modern analysis methods, including GC/GC-MS and titration methods
Fluency in written and spoken English
