A3P Biomedical AB is a commercial-stage company with a mission to improve the lives of men by radically improving precision in prostate cancer diagnostics and treatment. The lead product, Stockholm3, is a commercially validated blood test for early detection of prostate cancer.
Would you like to join us on our exciting journey? We are now looking for a Laboratory Engineer to join our team in Uppsala!
Your daily duties will be (but not be limited to):
Registration of incoming samples and sorting to their different destinations
Performing methods for protein measurements, DNA extraction and genotyping
Result and quality control analysis and evaluation
Use of pipetting robots and multiple analyzing instruments
Use of manual pipets, both standard and electronic
Working closely with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Follow cleaning routines



Your weekly or monthly duties will be (but may not be limited to):
Running and Maintenance of the lab, including cleaning etc.
Documentation: writing reports, instructions
Biobanking of samples for future research and development
Implementing study projects together with a senior member of Stockholm3 team



Laboratory work hours:
Full-time. Work hours may vary between 07:00 - 19:00



Requirements:
Minimum license as a biomedical scientist (BMA), preferably a Master's degree (or a Bachelor's) in biomedicine, biotechnology or equivalent
Documented knowledge in English (oral and writing)



Merits:
Experience of working in a clinical and/or accredited laboratory
Experience of production, quality control, validation, education, GLP, GMP, GDPR compliance
Minimum one year laboratory work experience
Good understanding of Swedish language, ambition of learning more a strong plus

You are quality oriented and aware of risks, understanding that the results we deliver directly affects patients. You are responsible, accurate and understand the importance of tracing and documentation
You can work independently as well as in a team. You are willing to step up and help colleagues when needed
You enjoy the routine part of the work in a laboratory and adhere to approved instructions
You willingly adapt to quick work changes and are stress resilient
You are solutions orientated and proactive, you take own initiatives whenever needed, while also knowing when to take a step back and ask for help or guidance
You are used to computerized systems and IT solutions
You contribute to a friendly and welcoming work environment
