We are now seeking our next colleague for a temporary position as a Laboratory Engineer within Nouryon Performance Formulations, Sweden. As Laboratory Engineer, you will play an active role within RD- projects and provide technical support and technical training and activities for customers as well as distributors and colleagues. Additional responsibilities within this role are continuous improvement activities as well as to participate in evaluation of development products and external products.
Main responsibilities
Active participation in RD&I projects, technical support activities for customers and internal continuous improvement activities
Participate in carrying out evaluation of development products and external products
Participate in preparation of education material and promotion material.
Responsible for keeping our test methods and equipment up to date in close cooperation with QC-labs
Responsible for ordering raw materials and lab equipment
Be prepared to travel to production sites and occasionally to customers
Active participation in technical trainings for our sales team and distributors
Qualifications
B.Sc. or M.Sc., in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Paint & Coatings
Proactive, independent and result driven
Team player with communication and interpersonal skills
Drive for creating a safe and healthy working environment
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Additional information
This is a temporary position on a full-time basis for approximately 1 year due to parental leave, reporting to the Section Manager Application Dev Paint and based in Stenungsund, Sweden.
