laboratory engineer

Job description
Do you have an engineering background in biotech or a PhD with knowledge in microbiology? Are you structured, a team player, and enjoy working in the lab? Then the role of laboratory engineer may be ideal for you!

This is a lab based role, which means good lab experience is required. The role is in research in an early phase and where you must be able to handle different analysis methods. It will involve performing experiments, analyzing results and documenting.

Responsibilities
Handling different analysis methods
 Performing experiments, analyzing results and documenting
Handle and measure bacteria
Contributing with own conclusions based on results
Making  own suggestions on how to proceed based on results
Make trial plans


Qualifications
Engineering background in biotech or a PhD with knowledge in microbiology
Have lab experience and be able to work independently in the lab.
Flexible, accept that things can change quickly
Taking  initiative, being open to new ideas and curious
Making own suggestions on how to proceed based on results
Required skills include strong communication  and teamwork. Fluent in spoken and written English. 
Thrives in a role where there are no "clear frames"
