Xbrane Biopharma AB in Solna, Stockholm is an innovative company developing Biosimilar products to make drugs accessible to less privileged populations globally. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and growing team within the development of Biosimilars.
You will be part of the Cell Line Development (CLD) team responsible for generating mammalian cell lines for Xbrane’s pipeline and implementing new technologies and processes for continuous platform improvement. You will be working in a high-performing and collaborative environment to ensure that project goals and timelines are met and will have a direct impact on shaping Xbrane’s cell line development and expression platforms.
Responsibilities:
Be involved in the development, refinement, and implementation of Xbrane’s cell line development (CLD) and expression platform in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Conduct early-stage process development using CHO-cell lines for various biologics
Be involved in the design and execution of experiments and analysis of experimental data using DoE tools (e.g., MODDE®)
Author relevant documentation, e.g., study plans, reports, process descriptions, work instructions etc
Record data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
Assist with cell thawing, backup handling, seed train preparation, and other related tasks as necessary
Use ambr® 15 for clone selection, media screening, feeding strategy optimization, and process development
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful CLD/upstream process development and optimization
Qualification:
Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or other relevant Life Science discipline
A minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in CLD/upstream process development using CHO-cell lines for biologics
Documented experience with DoE tools and data analysis
Documented experience with ambr® 15 and other high-throughput automated microscale bioreactors as well as single-cell cloning devices (e.g., UP.SIGHT™)
Familiarity with 5L bench top reactors and other upstream process equipment
You are well organized and possess great time-management skills. You are a team player with excellent communication, presentation and writing skills and you need to be fluent in English.
