Academic Resource is now recruiting one Laboratory Engineer to the R&D team at Atlas Antibodies, which is localized in Bromma, Stockholm. The position is a direct recruitment on behalf of our client. Start according to agreements.
The Role
Atlas Antibodies is looking to build their R&D team with a dedicated Laboratory Engineer. In this role you will plan, perform, and report experiments linked to validation of Atlas Antibodies’ polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. Your mai¬¬n focus will be on Western Blot (WB) analysis but it may include other methods like ICC in the future. The role is laboratory-based and will also include improvement projects and proof of concept studies within your area of responsibility.

Your profile
As a Laboratory Engineer in the Product Validation team, you will need to meet these qualifications:
• Master’s degree in biology, cell biology, biotechnology, or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience and general lab methods.
• Previous experience of Western blotting and cell culturing
• Excellent documentation skills and mindset favoring quality.
• Fluency in English both oral and written.
It is meritorious if you meet these qualifications as well:
• Previous experience of doing technical supervision or antibody validation.
• Swedish communication skills.
Furthermore, we see that you are passionate about laboratory work and enjoy spending time in the lab. You have a curious personality and a mindset of question and improve methods of working. Since you will communicate with other departments (QC, Production, IT) you need to have good communication skills and be able to work in a structured and meticulous manner.
