Job description
Do you want to work at an expanding company with high-quality research products in the Life Science area? Founded in 2006, Atlas Antibodies has grown organically since its inception. We are currently about 80 employees who develop, produce, market and sell research reagents to scientists at academic and industrial labs around the world. We are in an exciting expansion phase and are looking for a driven Laboratory engineer ICC-IF QC!

Responsibilities
In the role of Laboratory Engineer ICC-IF QC, you are part of a team consisting of ten employees who are responsible for Atlas Antibody's quality controls. The QC team reports to the manager of Quality Control. You will perform quality control of our products (antibodies) using immunocytochemistry- immunofluorescence (ICC-IF) to ensure that the antibodies maintain high and consistent quality from the preparation stage to the finished product. Job tasks include cell culture, ICC-IF staining, imaging, and analysis. 
 
The tasks include carrying out analyzes and documenting results by SOP (standard operating procedure) and established routines, as well as actively participating in the improvement and further development processes of the quality control processes. You report deviations from current routines and perform simpler operations and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are an analytical team player who is thorough and methodical in your work. You have quality awareness, take initiative in finding solutions and have a positive attitude. 
 
In addition, you need the following qualifications: 
Master’s degree in life sciences or similar field, or bachelor’s degree and work experience equivalent to a master’s degree  
1-2 years’ experience of cell culture, ICC-IF and confocal microscopy 
Fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish 

It is meriting if you have experience of:
Equipment responsibility, maintenance, service and troubleshooting 
IHC
LEAN 
Working in LIMS/ERP-systems 
Working with ISO standards and/or GMP 
Writing and following SOPs
