Description
Are you looking for a position with a broad focus on technology? In the role as Laboratory Engineer you will be a part of a close team where you are able to see direct results for our internal clients.
As part of Development & Service Operations, the DSO Packaging Material organisation is responsible to develop, maintain and implement world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions. Within our organisation Material Analysis we are now looking for a member to join our laboratory team for 1 year, as a replacement due to a maternity leave.
Main responsibilities
- Perform, evaluate and report packaging material analysis. The packaging material analysis's cover areas such as physical, mechanical, thermal, rheological, identification and optical analysis.
- Take part in developing analytical methods.
- Besides from driving activities within development projects you will work close to our Supply Chain organisation supporting them with your expertise in testing and analysis.
Qualifications
To be successful we believe that you are accurate and methodical in your work and approach tasks with an analytical perspective. You have the ability to drive your tasks towards our projects acting as an expert in your specific area. You are a clear communicator with customer orientation and at the same time clear on your responsibilities.
We believe that you have at least a BSc within Chemistry or Physics focusing on materials and material characterization. Knowledge of polymers and/or paperboard is considered a merit.
Good knowledge in English, written and spoken, as well knowledge in the Microsoft Office package are requirements.
