Laboratory Engineer to the R&D group at Atlas Antibodies

Atlas antibodies, located in Stockholm (Bromma), is a cutting-edge biotechnology company set on delivering highly characterized and validated antibodies covering 75% of the human proteome. The R&D team within Antibody Validation and Applications at Atlas Antibodies is now expanding and looking for an enthusiastic Laboratory Engineer to join their team.

The Role

You will plan, perform and report experiments linked to validation of Atlas Antibodies’ polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. Your main focus will be on Western Blot (WB) analysis, cell culturing and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). You will also be included in developing new products and potential new areas of application through improvement projects.

The role is about 80 % laboratory-based and will also include improvement projects and proof of concept studies within your area of responsibility.

Your profile

You have a Master of Biotechnology, Biomedicine or equal experience from working, for example, as an BMA. To succeed in this role, you have WB and cell culturing laboratory experience and are fluent in English (verbal and written).

Since the role includes communication with other internal departments (QC, Production, IT) you need to have good communication skills and be able to work in a structured and meticulous manner. Furthermore, you have the ability to work and navigate internal IT-systems. Previous experience from laboratory work with IHC-analysis and immunoassays is highly meritorious as well as Swedish language skills (verbal and written).
