The Role

Here is an exciting opportunity to join the QC team at Atlas Antibodies as a Laboratory engineer that will focus on quality control of recombinant protein fragments (antigens) using HPLC-MS, protein sequencing, BioAnalyzer and SDS-PAGE. You will carry out analyzes and document results in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures) and established routines, as well as actively participate in improvement of the quality control processes. You will report deviations in accordance with current routines and perform maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

In the role as Laboratory engineer, you are part of the QC team consisting of nine employees, reporting to the Group Leader Quality Control. We perform quality control of our products and intermediates to ensure that they maintain high and consistent quality from the preparation stage to finished product. We also manufacture and perform quality control on material such as cell lysates for Western blot and tissue microarrays for immunohistochemistry.

Your profile

You need to have at least two years of work experience using HPLC-MS to analyze peptides and proteins, as well as a master’s degree in life sciences or similar field. It is positive if you have previously worked with protein sequencing, and meriting if you have worked according to ISO standards or GMP, written and followed SOPs and worked in LIMS/ERP-systems.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are self-driven, resourceful and have good communication skills in English and preferably also in Swedish. You are passionate about laboratory work and know what it means to work towards a daily deadline.
