For our location in Vasteras, Sweden we are currently looking to recruit a Laboratory Lead
Purpose of the role:
The Laboratory Responsible leads the local laboratory team from a technical perspective and is responsible for the lab environment in which test integration must be performed timely, accurately and safely. Additionally, the Laboratory Lead is the interface to other labs on other sites.
Responsibilities:
Supervises the inventory of the testing infrastructure
Manages the cost calculation for tools and licenses
Creates a billing concept and includes in all bids
Manages and improve the test equipment manufacturing quality
Develops infrastructure with flexible and remote access
Implements defined methods and strategy for HW Test environment
Aligns with different sites regarding infrastructure with the target to standardize and optimize
Establishes a service organization that supplies test infrastructure for customer and internal projects in time, budget and quality
Sets up and maintains hardware, simulations, tools and additional infrastructure elements
Defines, assigns and controls the work packages
In charge of the HSE laboratory planning; improves HSE, performs safety tours and reduces HSE risks
Performs monthly safety tours on the local site 12x7, reports stored
mitigation of risks identified, manages the risk assessments
Identifies gaps in the way of working or the used tools and processes and implements aligned measures
Supervises the standardization of the test equipment
Improves the usage of test racks
Supervises the Test lab qualifications for all projects
Analyses and documents occurred errors / hazards
Reviews technical documentation
Prepares hardware documentation, process documents and test reports
Provides guidance and training for interns and trainees
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferable in Electrical, Communication Technology or Computer Science
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of fundamentals of electrical engineering and automation technology
Basic knowledge in the construction of complex test systems
Preferable TCMS or similar Train Control system knowledge
Experiences in the field of test automation
Experience in dealing with TCMS specific tools and the TCMS platform represents a plus
Experience in Project management
