Laboratory Manager to Chiesi R&D Sweden

Chiesi R&D Sweden is now looking for a Lab Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team in a brand-new laboratory located at Solna Campus in Stockholm.

The Biotech Research and Product Development (BRPD) unit in Sweden is a crucial part of Chiesi´s strategy for bringing new innovative medicines to the patients. This is a 6-8-month consultant assignment with the possibility of prolongation or employment at Chiesi. We would be happy to receive your application as soon as possible. Interviews and presentation of candidates will take place on an ongoing basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a consultant assignment and you will be employed by Poolia and working at Chiesi R&D Sweden.
As Lab Manager you will be the main contact person for the lab and support the effective operation of the lab by overseeing maintenance of the facility, instrument maintenance and service, purchase of chemicals and reagents, storage rooms, laboratory safety and general support to people working in the lab.

QUALIFICATIONS
The right candidate has a relevant university education and/or adequate work experience. You have at least 2 years' experience of laboratory work and preferably you have been working as a Laboratory Manger or senior laboratory Technician in a similar setting. The assignment demand adequate computer skills and a good command of English language. If you speak Swedish it is an advantage.
To succeed in the role, you have a systematic way of working and proven good ability to plan and organize your own work. You are service minded and enjoy working hands-on in the laboratory. You like to contribute to open communication and constructive teamwork where strong collaboration, initiative and responsibility are in focus.
