Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.Material Analysis globally support project activities and claims with packaging material and off-flavour analysis and is the global owner of test methods for both laboratory and converting factory use. The polymer team drives method development, characterization of polymer both mechanical and physical, film production with our laboratory extruder, evaluation and reporting results to our orderers.One important focus area within this team is to support Tetra Pak with material analysis methods, material analysis and material characterization competence and capabilities.Your main tasks and responsibilities in this role will be: . Drive method development, perform analysis, evaluate and report the results . Perform analysis and use analytical equipment . Translate new package, raw material and packaging material requirements into measurable properties . Responsible for ensuring the validity, reliability of selected testing methods . Responsible for the proper documentation of test methods and results .Keep updated on current development within area of analysis The successful candidate has a University degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.Work experience from FTIR analysis as well as analysis within the polymer area is considered additional qualifications.You have a very good command in English, both written and verbal. As a person you have a high self-motivated drive and are able to work both independently and as a part of a team.You have a creative and analytical approach to problem definition and problem solving.You possess very good communication skills.
