Laboratory Scientist - temp

Material Analysis globally support project activities and claims with material and off-flavour analysis and is the global owner of test methods for both laboratory and converting factory use. The off-flavour team uses Sensory and Chemical analysis to determine the potential off-flavours in packaging materials and packages and the chemical reasons thereof.The competence within this team is unique for Tetra Pak globally which is manifested in a broad contact area.


In this position you will

- Plan tests, perform analysis and evaluate and report the results
- Handle market claims and support Tetra Pak whenever off-flavour work is needed (from production issues to development work).The character of the work is mainly of investigatory nature
- Improve and develop analysis methods
- Take an active part in building up Tetra Pak know-how in the off-flavour area



Kvalifikationer

As a person you are able to work both independently and as a part of a team.You have an analytical approach to problem definition and problem solving with strong focus on quality.You are a good communicator fluent in English both written and verbal.

The successful candidate has some years experience of GCMS analysis as well as qualitative evaluation of GCMS data.Work experience from packaging industry is considered as an additional qualification.A suitable education level is university degree chemical engineering or equivalent.
