Laboratory Technician

In our facilities in Solna / Sundbyberg we develop and manufacture diagnostics tests that improve patient outcome all over the world


As a Laboratory Technician in the beads manufacturing group the main task is to perform manual laboratory work by preparing buffers and other solutions, as well as handling sensitive materials and chemicals with high precision. A lot of the work is standardized and requires good understanding of GMP and business specific regulations. In addition, you will be expected to handle inventory and laboratory preparations as well as minor maintenance and housekeeping, involving contacts with other groups and departments.


Qualifications for the job:
B.Sc. in biomedicine or equivalent education or work experience
Experience from clean room environments
Good understanding and experience of aseptic work, how to prevent microbial growth and cross contamination
Experience with temperature sensitive materials
Experience with handling micropipettes and pipet aids
To be able to follow verbal and written instructions both in Swedish and English
GMP experience
Good understanding of basic mathematics for unit conversions
