Laboratory Technician

Job description
A new clinical laboratory in Solna has opened up with the purpose to increase the national capacity for analysis of Covid-19 infection. The lab is expanding and is looking for an experienced lab technician. The work will consist of analysis of COVID-19 samples using PCR & ELISA techniques. The lab is located at Biomedicum in Solna, offering state of the art facilities.


Areas of responsibility
The role incorporates responsibility for receiving and analyzing samples with molecular biology methods, such as PCR & ELISA, as well as handling of results.


Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a relevant education, e.g. BMA, molecular biology or similar. You should feel confident with analysis methods for PCR and ELISA. Experience from analysing patient samples is meriting, as is experience of quality work such as QA.


To enjoy this position it is important that you like spending time at the lab and are willing to work shift and weekends. You feel comfortable with independently planning and documenting your work. You appreciate the importance of team work and it is therefore important that you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. As a person you are structured and communicative. Since the lab is relatively new started it is good if you like to be part of improvement processes.
