Laboratory Technician to global company in Lund

This position is within a Sealing laboratory where they develop test methods and analyze sealing performance, based on requests from different projects. The work includes physical testing in lab environment.

Your main responsibility will include:

· Test, evaluate and analyze packages in the Sealing lab.

· Be the speaking partner towards projects. Give recommendation to project regarding sealing performance.

· Participate in test method development.

 

The work is very much hands-on and involves skills as:

· Handling chemicals

· Statistics (eg Minitab)

· Microscopy

· X-ray

· Execute tests according to test plan

· Develop test methods in collaboration with development engineers

· Report problems or failures

 

You are also expected to be thorough and collaborative. There is no requirement of a degree within Engineering. This is a hands-on assignment and previous experience and knowledge of working in a lab is beneficial but not a demand.
