Labour Affairs Specialist - Manufacturing People Experience

What’s in it for you?
Labour Affairs is a team consisting of ten employees, with different backgrounds and experiences and with great interest in labour law and union relations. The team has a responsibility for labour law for Volvo Cars Sweden as well as a global governance for the entire Volvo Car Group. We are now in an industry transformation and there will be opportunities to play a key role for the development of way of working within the Labour Affairs area for Volvo Cars. There are possibilities to enter deeply into different labour law subject areas while we continuously improve and develop our processes. You will work in close collaboration with local People Experience (PX) and managers within Manufacturing in Torslanda plant, as well as the unions and the employers' association.
What you’ll do:
You will be working with union negotiations and labour law cases and agreements, managing individual cases, working hours, wage systems as well as labour law related projects. You will also perform training for new managers in Labour Law.
Your Skills:
• University education within Human Resource and Labour Law
• Some years’ experience in working with labour law and collective agreements, working hours, wages/salaries
• Experience with union collaboration and negotiation
• Good communication skills, oral and written, both in Swedish and English
Meritorious
• Understanding of production environment and processes
