What’s in it for you?
Labour Affairs is a team with great interest in labour law and union relations, with a responsibility for labour law issues for Volvo Cars Sweden as well as a global governance for the entire Volvo Car Group. We are in an industry transformation with new challenges to be the fastest transformer.
The team, consisting of ten employees with different backgrounds and experiences, is located in Gothenburg and Olofström. We work in close collaboration with local People Experience and managers within the different business functions as well as the unions and the employers’ association. There are possibilities to enter deeply into different labour law subject areas and processes while we continuously improve and develop our processes.
We are now looking for a collegue to our team!
What you’ll do:
As a team member of Labour Affairs, you will be responsible for one or several functions, perform union negotiations and labour law issues and agreements, managing individual cases, working hours as well as labour law related projects and trainings. Your main tasks will include the following:
- Responsibility for a unit/units as labour affairs unit support
- Acting as an adviser in labour law issues
- Union negotiations
- Investigations in labour law issues including individual cases
- Responsibility for one or more labour law subject areas
- Projects and improvement work
- Participation in suitable networks
Your Skills:
• University education within Human Resource and Labour law
• Several years of work experience with labour law and collective labour agreements
• Experience with union collaboration and negotiations
• Good communication skills, oral and written, both in Swedish and English

Furthermore you need to be a networker to be able to seek for ways to establish credibility, and influence your relations. Lastly, you have a structured and driving personality with an ability to embrace challenges with curiosity, as this is required for you in this position.
