Lab/Test Engineer
We are looking for our new lab/test Engineer! If you are experienced in the electrical and technical field and also hold innovation and structure high, you might be the one we are looking for.
As a Lab/Test Engineer you will be a part of the Product Engineering team located in Alingsås. This team is working with cable accessories for MV (Medium Voltage) and HV (High Voltage). AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current). You will be joining the Product Engineering team where there the following competences exists; Design Engineer, Material Engineer, Specialist, Lab/Test Engineer and Project Manager.

Planning, development and execution of testing cable accessories
Your specific work will be planning and execution of cable accessories development tests and type tests for MV/HV cable accessories, write technical reports and support the calibration of lab equipment’s. You will also be able to support in various installation trials and if needed be able to support in product trainings as well. You can also be asked to support in other sites/labs depending of testing needed.

Beside the above, your tasks also include:

• Arrange internal testing of new products
• Create and execute a test plan together with colleagues in Engineering
• Create statistics of test results
• Participate in team meetings to improve testing and products

Structured and custom oriented mindset, open for new technologies and ideas
We are searching for an experienced colleague within testing. Knowledge in the field of cable accessories MV/HV would be very meritorious.
As a person, you are self-driven with a positive attitude and have excellent collaboration skills as well as you are flexible and can hold many different tasks at the same time. You are innovative and yet safety oriented.

Beside the above, your CV also includes:

• Bachelor in the electrical field or other equivalent area
• Experience +5 years
• Great knowledge in electrical test equipment for MV/HV
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish
• If you also speak German, that would be a plus
