Alstom Transport AB Presentation Alstom is looking for a Storekeeper for their Commissioning and Warranty (CW) depot in Helsingborg. The depot will be taking care of the new 'Pågatågen' trains. Arbetsuppgifter We think that you have the capability to drive the development of a spare part storage facility from a 'green field operation' to a fully operational CW storage. You can drive all practical matters and questions related to the foundation of a spare part storage and to understand the service role of a spare part 'supermarket'. Our customers are being both Alstom facilities and external suppliers. To manage storekeeping while being in the process of building the new depot in Helsingborg and possibly later participating in recruitment of additional staff for the CW storage. You need to fully understand the necessity of optimization of logistics and the critical factors around a spare part material flow. Probably you have worked with similar tasks on a strategic, theoretical and a hands on level. We think that you need to have a flexible open mind and a hands on capability when it comes to: - reception - unpacking - storage - packing and dispatching of parts and tooling with the slipping list filled in populate the appropriate data base - perform physical inventory on a yearly basis - follow up supplier and claims - organize transportation of parts and tooling. Utbildning/erfarenhet We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience within storekeeping and a great amount of technical knowledge and interest. If you have prior experience of establishing a new storage including physical planning, routines, processes, building up databases etcetera, that is a considerable qualification. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English and Swedish. You have a high degree of initiative in your daily work. You are used to work independently in projects where all conditions might not be fully defined. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a team, willing to share knowledge and skills.
