Berlitz Corporation is one of the leading providers worldwide for language training with over 550 locations in over 70 countries. We are currently looking for instructors who can deliver high quality teaching in Mandarin in Stockholm. We offer an international, professional and dynamic working environment where the students develop rapidly with our conversational based method.

 

Your profile:

You are interested in languages and want to work in an international environment. We require that you have a native fluent fluent level in Mandarin. You have at least a bachelor’s degree and/or business related work experience. You are creative, committed and attentive. It is also important  that you are thorough regarding documentation, have a professional attitude and are punctual. You like to work in teacher teams. We assume that you have another part-time employment that you want to combine with this work. We are looking for instructors for the hours between 08:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday. You set your own timetable within our opening hours.

 

Your work assignments:

You will teach in Mandarin according to the Berlitz method® and at the same time document the students' educational development. As an instructor, you can motivate by being creative and dynamic while creating a learner-friendly structure in the classroom. Teaching takes place at our office and at the customers’ offices. We work together throughout the organization regarding the students in our team.

 

Instructor Training

Experience in teaching is a merit but not necessary. We offer online instructor training as well as local coaching to teach according to the Berlitz method®. This initial training is not compensated for and it’s all in English. The training consists of the following three steps:


• Online Modules (approx. 11 hours)
• Live Online Activation Sessions (5 X 4,5 hours)
• Face2face training at Berlitz Stockholm (2 X 2 hours)

 

You need:


• Native Fluent Level in Mandarin 
• Minimum requirement - a bachelor’s degree and/or business-related work experience
