The English School is an international school with English as the language of instruction. We are an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme School and a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme. The school is situated in the centre of Älmhult next to the Library and a short distance from the railway station. We co-operate with Linne School and the Montessori School and share some facilities. The school has a 70% vacancy for a fully qualified secondary school teacher for the Middle Years Programme (pupils aged 12-17) teaching a combination of, preferably all, or some of the following subjects: Geography, Religion, Swedish/Swedish as a foreign language as well as P.E. for all the pupils aged 6-17. The position may be shared, with the number of teaching hours adjusted according to qualifications. A very good level in English is required. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, qualified teacher to join our dedicated team, used to working in an international environment with an interest for using The International Baccalaureate programme. The position is for the Spring Term of 2008 with the possibility of becoming extended.
