Are you passionate and experienced in promoting innovation and creativity in your teaching? Are you keen to join a team of teachers who promote a calm and active learning environment in the classroom? IESTäby are looking for a dynamic and outstanding teacher of Spanish, interested in joining our team in Täby at senior school (children aged 13-16). Our school follows the Swedish national curriculum, teaching Spanish using English or Swedish as the support language. The Swedish Modern Foreign Language curriculum is second language based where language skill and cultural knowledge is the focus.
This presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate interested in working in a stimulating and rewarding international environment, with a team of 3 Spanish and team of 7 MFL teachers We invite applications from enthusiastic, motivated and certified teachers. A mentor role (form teacher) for 16 students is also a key part of the role as we prioritise communication home in our pastoral care in Täby. If you are a newly qualified teacher we have experienced Spanish teachers and first lead teachers to support and coach you as a mentor during your first year at our school.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Swedish will be considered a merit.
