Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is through both Swedish and English, with English the language of the corridors. IES Eskilstuna is one of the largest schools in Sweden with nearly 1,300 students enrolled in grades 1-9 and approx 150 staff members.

Vi söker vikarie med behörighet att undervisa i Moderna språk - Tyska!

Vi förväntar oss att du är en tydlig ledare i klassrummet, att du är engagerad och ansvarstagande i ditt uppdrag.

Du är trygg och stabil, har förmågan att bygga goda relationer med elever, vårdnadshavare och kollegor.

Du ser kollegialt lärande som en framgångsfaktor för att utveckla undervisningen och elevernas lärande.

Du trivs med att arbeta med ungdomar i grundskolans äldre åldrar i en utvecklande och internationell miljö.

Vi följer den svenska läroplanen LGR11. Du kommer att undervisa årskurser 6-9.

Vi framhäver att det är viktigt med struktur och ordning. Ordningsregler är viktiga för att skapa en lugn och trygg arbetsmiljö för både elever och lärare.

Tjänsten är ett vikariat med start omgående fram till skolavslutning i juni 2021.

Substitute Modern Language teacher – German Grades 6 - 9

You enjoy working with young people in a developing and international environment. You have a strong drive and initiative, and it is important that you are outgoing and have a good judgment.

It is important that you see your role as a part of the whole, where everyone's efforts are important.

We will always look for the best ways to teach, therefore we continuously develop our pedagogy together with our international colleagues.

We follow the Swedish curriculum LGR11. You will teach year 6-9.

We emphasize the importance of structure and order. Our School rules are important to hold a calm and safe working environment for both staff and students.

This is a temporary position up until the end of spring term 2021.
