Laser physicist / laser engineer Cobolt AB specializes in diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSSLs) in the UV, visible and near-infrared, for integration in equipment for bioanalysis, imaging, remote sensing and displays.Cobolt started in 2000 and has now a strong product portfolio.As an actor on a very dynamic market, we need to continuously invest in new product development, and the R&D department is now looking for a skilled Laser physicist / Laser engineer to complement the development team.Cobolt is situated in Stockholm, Sweden in close proximity to the Royal Institute of Technology and its research environment.More information about the company is found on www.cobolt.se Your work tasks: - Participate in the design of UV, visible and IR diode pumped solid state lasers.- Assembly of prototype lasers and pilot production.- Test and verification of developed lasers.- Material inspection and verification.- Simulations and minor theoretical studies of phenomena related to laser physics.- The nature of the work tasks is mostly experimental.
