Your Mission
In Mercell, the role of a Launch Manager is pivotal in orchestrating the seamless introduction of new products and releases. This dynamic position involves a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs, effective risk assessment, and ownership of the entire launch process. The Launch Manager acts as the linchpin between various departments, ensuring that requirements are met, information flows seamlessly, and all teams and tools are ready to handle the introduction of a new product. With a focus on clear communication, strategic collaboration, and meticulous planning, the Launch Manager is the driving force behind successful launches, fostering a positive experience for both internal teams and clients. This role embodies a holistic approach, guaranteeing that every aspect of the launch is executed with precision, from initial planning to post-launch evaluation.

Core Responsibilities
- Ownership of Launch Process:
Assume full ownership of the launch process, overseeing it from initial planning to post-launch evaluation.
- Timely Execution:
Develop and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all teams adhere to deadlines and deliverables for a timely launch.
- Requirements Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document launch requirements, ensuring readiness checks for marketing collateral, documentation, and support resources.
- Requirements Fulfillment:
Collaborate with other departments to meet their launch requirements and confirm tool and team readiness for handling the new product or release.
- Stakeholder Management:
Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, sales, customer success, and support.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Proactively identify potential risks associated with the launch and develop comprehensive strategies across technical, operational, and customer impact areas.
- Communication Strategy:
Keep internal teams informed about launch objectives, timelines, and potential challenges, while coordinating the development of a comprehensive communication plan for clients.
- Performance Metrics and Evaluation:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the success and impact of the launch, followed by a thorough post-launch assessment gathering feedback from internal teams and clients.
- Training and Documentation:
Ensure internal teams are well-versed in the new product or release for effective support and oversee the creation of clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials for clients.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Launch Manager, Project Manager, Product Marketing, or Product Manager.
- Strong project management skills with focus on delivering on all deadlines
- Strong on stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong on risk management, being able to oversee the big picture and to identify what and who is needed to make the launch a success
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Some IT knowledge to be able to talk with and ask questions towards Product and Tech
- Good understanding of the customer journey
