Laws & Standard Specialist
IKEA IMS Store Equipment, Älmhult

As a Laws & Standard Specialist with us you will be a part of creating a platform for sustainable growth in close co-operation with your colleagues within IMS and in networks within and outside IKEA.
With us your main responsibilities will be;
· Identify and document relevant national and international product standards and regulations and communicate these to the Store Equipment Category, e.g by IMS specifications, test instructions or guiding documents.
· Support the Business teams and projects in the product development process by providing guidance on how to fulfill product standards and regulations.
· Develop and maintain a network of internal and external compliance experts in the sales market.
· Support and train IMS Store Equipment Category and suppliers with safety and compliance issues.
· Proactively identify and document legal requirements entering new markets.
Is this the right challenge for you?
We are looking for a person with University degree, preferably in chemical/ environmental engineering and/or environmental chemistry or equivalent. You have a basic understanding of different production processes and ability to audit and analyze suppliers' working methods.
You are fluent in both spoken and written English. And you have the desire to work in a simple, effective and understandable way based on our IKEA values. You are self-motivated and improvement driven along with a curious mind. You trust your own judgment and confidence to act/decide in complex situations. Skillful in building networks and trustful relations will also be important and require that you share and learn openly with others and take responsibility for your growth and development in the role.
