Customer Experience & Sales (CX & Sales) is a newly established global cross-functional and customer-centric function within the H&M Brand focusing on delivering an outstanding customer experience. CX & Sales has a key role in enabling us to reach our brand direction, to become the leading destination for style, creativity, and culture. As Layout Developer in CX & Sales you will be right at the center of this shift towards a truly customer-centric organisation. 
Job Description
The Layout Developer will work in a highly collaborative and cross functional setting and is responsible for layout development that supports exceptional inspiration and guidance for our customers. The role is a main contributor to both full store format developments as well as development of specific components and guiding updates in existing stores, always with the customer experience focus. Customer flow, nodes, commerciality and capacity are key areas in this role in order to create a unique, physical experience in all our store formats.
As Layout Developer, your responsibilities include:
Being responsible for development of retail layout and customer flow for respective format / initiative - based on verified insights, data, and relevant research
Being responsible for leading the architectural, interior and/or layout development for a specific store format or/and initiative, test connected to H&M store design (i.e. responsible architect for special stores)
Being responsible to secure most optimal navigation and guidance to customers through layout design
Executing design initiatives in line with Customer, Brand Experience direction and assuring highest level of commerciality in the relevant space (product & service)
Defining ways of working and setting expectations on interior design capabilities in Global Expansion (Growth team)
Constantly updating own knowledge and skills to understand impact of interior, store design and layout on customers' behavior and results delivered through H&M stores
Strengthening and empowering the creative teams through an inspiring, empathetic and visionary leadership. Leading similar competences within field of layout and space planning.

In addition, to be successful in the role we believe you have:
5+ years of space planning and store design experience
Minimum B.Sc. within relevant field of studies, i.e. Architecture & Design or Interior Design etc.
Previous experience from working with relevant brands, deep knowledge and understanding within relevant areas of their business
Professional knowledge and capability within the area of Architecture & Design, including but not limited to:
Architectural and interior design (exploration of materials, structures, and construction
Architectural drawings and design details in both 2D and 3D, including visualizations and renderings in relevant software
Building technology, structural design, construction of building elements and components
Professional knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit, SketchUp, Adobe CC and other relevant software
Proven experience in creating both an inspiring and functional retail space to drive customer traffic, conversion, and average purchase, whilst at the same time laying a strong foundation for efficient operations and facility management
Ability to transfer ideas into reality and ensure long term meanings and implications in line with an overall vision and strategy
Full proficiency in English, both verbal and written

Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Stockholm and you will report directly to Store Design Manager.
