Description

Our client is looking for a LCA, EPD and BPD consultant. The main purpose of this role is to support the sustainability “team” with creating new LCAs, EPDs and BPDs, as well as maintaining the existing ones, if needed.

Work tasks:

- Collect data needed to perform complex LCAs in the context of a wide-ranging product portfolio
- Collect data needed to perform LCAs, following the requirements set in EN15804, draft EPDs, being the key driver in contact with third party verifier and support in the EPD publishing process
- Manage the BVD; collecting data from R&D teams, compile it in eBVD
- Provide expertise on lifecycle assessments and highlight different in product carbon footprint based on different product designs, feeding it into the technology roadmap plans and Science Based Targets Scope 3.


Mandatory competence and experience:

- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in working with LCA tools, such as SimaPro or GaBi.
- A technical understanding is fundamental and experience from work with lifecycle assessments (LCAs)
- Be able to develop LCAs and EPDs according to EN 15804
- Good knowledge of creating EPDs for verification and publication
- Experience of coordination of different types of environmental building certifications systems
- Knowledge and interest in working with sustainability and carbon neutrality
- Good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and good communication skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
