About the job
As LCA/EPD coordinator you will be a part of our sustainability team for the product area Ventilation Systems, which is a part of the development of future product and solutions within ventilation. You will act as our specialist regarding life cycle assessment and environmental product declarations. Here you get the opportunity to be involved from start, to build up processes how to work with life cycle analysis as part of the product development and to generate environmental product declarations.
Your work takes place in close collaboration with the product development team and together with other sustainability resources within the Lindab group. The work includes all from collecting and analysing sustainability-related data from suppliers, consult within strategies and educate the organisation. You will also act as contact person to: customers, suppliers, legal entities, third part certifications, research projects etc.
Main task and areas of responsibility:
The company's specialist in Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Declarations.
Perform LCA analyses and generate EPD on behalf of the organisation and customer´s demand.
Implement, develop, and manage tools for LCA.
Attend external meetings and support the sales organization in customer inquiries regarding LCA analyses.
Collect and analyse sustainability-related data from production, suppliers and for materials.
Support development projects on topics like circular economy and energy efficiency.
Propose climate measures and suggest working methods for managing this.
Continuously work to improve current LCA processes for accuracy and efficiency following LCA methodology.
Represent Lindab in external networks and forums regarding our EPD work.
Your background
Most likely you are an environmental engineer or have a similar university degree or equivalent work experience. We highly value work experience within LCA and EPD. All knowledge and practical experience with Life Cycle Assessment software, preferably One Click LCA, will be strongly meritorious. It is also a strong merit if you have previous experience of leading and running projects. Experience of modelling regarding recycling and circular economy, is also an advantage. Hence you will work in an international arena you have to be fluent in Swedish and English.
