Lead Architect, Digital Sales

We are looking for a Lead Architect for digital sales to join our team and play a critical role in the largest insurance company in the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital insurance and join us in delivering world-class digital sales solutions for our customers.
About the role
As a Tribe Lead Architect, you will lead the architectural work in the digital sales domain, across two agile tribes. You will enable them to make the right architecture decisions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and other architects to make sure that your tribes build the right things, and that they fit into the bigger picture. You will be part of the Nordic Architecture unit, collaborating with architects from across the Nordics to advance architecture and drive digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities include:
Driving Architecture work in the tribes and enabling the teams in your tribes to make the right architecture decisions
Communicate priorities and capabilities with business and help them understand how best to reach their objectives
Participating in digital sales-related initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and pre-studies
Continuously learning and building knowledge about solutions and architecture

About the tribes
You will be part of the Entice and Reactor tribes; the tribes cover digital sales for SME and Private respectively, across the Nordics. The most prominent products are the web shops for each country and business unit, but the tribe is also responsible for quote and buy APIs for our partners, and many other smaller products.
About the team
You will join a team of architects in similar roles as yours, that work across all digital services and APIs in If. We prioritize sharing knowledge and learning from one another to collectively improve our skills as architects.
We are looking for a person, who has:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
A passion for technology and the latest advancements
Can align architectural decisions and recommendations with business needs, and excels at working at the intersection of business and IT development
Extensive experience as a solution architect in digital channels, eCommerce, or self-service solutions
Experience from working on modern web or mobile apps
Understanding of cloud technology and architecture in complex enterprise environments
Strategic thinking in a constantly evolving environment

In addition to this, having a background with eCommerce or sales within highly regulated industries such as InsureTech, FinTech, or Telecom, is a plus! We also see that you possess strong Agile experience and are highly motivated.
