For this role we are looking for someone with genuine passion for internal combustion engines. You will be part of a growing team supporting the Koenigsegg unique cam less system. You will have a direct possibility to influence the product and investigate new paths. You will be working closely with external and internal customers in an entrepreneurial start-up like organization. You will be part of the company growth in putting the most interesting technology in the combustion engine market yet to date.

As a Lead Auxiliary engineer in this team, you will be responsible for the specifications and releases of all ingoing components in the auxiliary system to operate the cam-less valve actuation. Lead the design and the development to make it robust, durable and reliable utilizing the latest automotive technologies. You will work closely with the rest of the team to secure the internal and external deliveries. You will be the overall responsible to keep the delivery for customer together alongside the internal product development path. You will also be part of growing the team for future expansions.

Responsibilities

- Generate 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Catia V6 inside the 3DExperience platform and Solidworks.
- Generate package models
- Supplier capability analysis
- Generate and update Bill of material
- Support of release of product into production 3DX and Solidworks
- Work closely with production, aftermarket, prototype, quality, electrical, as well as CAE.
- Organize and carry out tests to verify component function and requirement approval.
- Actively search the market for new products and latest development within the area.
- Ensure that product meet compliance regulations
- Technical support leading to successful introduction into production
- Interaction with suppliers and technology providers

Need to have

- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering
- Design experience with CATIA V5, V6, 3DX Solidworks preferred
- Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with assembling, multi-model links, design in context
- Experience with detail drafting and modeling
- Experience with PLM system
- Experience in automotive
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of prototyping, production technologies, and validation procedures
- Professional level of English

Meritorious

- Thermal dynamics or combustion major
- Experience from compressor, heat exchangers and pneumatics development
- Base engine design, production, and life cycle
- Designing and producing systems with tight tolerances
- System technical specifications and requirement brake down
- Understanding of ERP system
