Lead Backend Developer with cloud platform experience

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems focuses on entrance automation through design, manufacturing, sales, installation and service to optimize our customers business. We are now hiring for a new team that will help our customers and our internal service organization even further through improved operational efficiency with new and innovative IoT solutions.
What you will be doing
As a Lead backend developer and platform architect, you will play a key role in our growing IoT team as you will be designing and developing the platform that will modernize our products by connecting them to each other. You will be using Amazon Web Services as your primary tool and will have an active role in integrating the platform into our internal systems, working closely with the designers and frontend developers within your team.
As part of the team, you will also be involved in assessing new customer requirements in order to understand how it affects the user interface and the analytics extracted from the platform to our customers and service organization.
The divisional headquarter of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is serving the global organization and is located close to the Landskrona train station in a spacious modern office. You will report to the IoT Platform Manager.
Skills and qualifications (mandatory)
Master´s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar university degree
5+ years experience of developing backend solutions for web applications
Experience of languages like JavaScript, Java, C#, Python
Used to working in a development team using Agile methodologies
Experience of database programming (RDBMS/NoSQL)

Skills and qualifications (meritorious)
Good understanding and experience of developing services on Cloud platforms in general and AWS in particular
Good understanding of serverless micro services architecture in cloud environments
Good understanding of building scalable systems
Experience of developing IoT systems
Experience of tools for CI/CD such Git, Jenkins
Experience of security critical applications
