Lead Business Analyst - Nasdaq Clearing
Nasdaq is looking for a Lead Business Analyst with a background in finance and IT to join the Nasdaq CCP (NCCP) Team. NCCP provides high-velocity clearing, collateral management and settlement solutions that intelligently manage and mitigate ever-changing risks, while efficiently processing billions of multi-asset transactions. At Nasdaq we deliver a highly sophisticated CCP system to major Clearing houses around the world. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs; our technology must be real-time, robust and able to keep up with even the most demanding market conditions.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will act as the interface between our clients and the IT organization by translating business processes and needs into detailed functional requirements. You will also lead and coordinate the BAs working in your projects, as well as take on the responsibility for ensuring that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the clients requirements. The role will be based in Stockholm, but might on occasion involve international travel to our other offices and clients.
Furthermore, you will:
Take part in early design studies with new customers to describe and demo existing functionality and understand new needs from the customer
Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders
Design functional solutions for clients and document requirements
Support the cross-functional teams in implementing product requirements
Provide customer demos of ongoing functional development
Provide input into project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget
Lead and coordinate the BAs working in the project
Plan and take ownership of requirements deliverables
Assist the technical writer in production of operational and user documentation including release notes
Ensure operational and user documentation is accurate and complete
Facilitate workshops- provide user training on new functionality and handle user queries regarding system functionality
Who you are:
You have a degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or related discipline
Several years of experience working as a Business Analyst or project manager with experience managing large-scale projects and deliveries
Experience as a Business Analyst within the finance industry with knowledge of central counterparty clearing is required to be successful in this role
Experience using Jira and/or Confluence
Confident in taking initiative and proposing solutions
