Lead Calibration Engineer/Team leader, Exhaust After-Treatment System

The Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) department within Powertrain Engineering Sweden is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust after treatment systems for Volvo Group’s different products around the world. We are about 80 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation. Together with our colleagues around the world we take full system responsibility.


In the Exhaust Aftertreatment Hardware Components Group we are now seeking a lead calibration engineer/team leader for our Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM). As a lead calibration engineer/team leader you will own the team backlog and be responsible for the team delivery when it comes to calibration, software & dataset configuration, and system data analytics. The work will be performed in component/system test benches, engine test rigs and in complete vehicles. You will also be the main interface towards our software development teams when it comes to initiate and specify new or improved software functionality.

Main responsibilities
Lead, synchronize and perform activities within the ACM calibration team
Owner of team backlog
Responsible for balancing team priorities in collaboration with team & group manager.
Responsible for driving new way of working



Required qualifications
Master’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics or SW engineering
Experience in software calibration methods and tools
Experience in software configuration methods and tools
Experience in data analytic methods and tools
Understanding of the exhaust aftertreatment sub-system technology area and its industrial applications
Good collaboration skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
