About the job
In this position, you have a leading role in overall Data needs, primarily focusing on requirements from different Group Functions. You’re responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the Data as a Domain, covering Methodology, Mapping, Cataloging, Several BI applications including PowerBI and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization.
The Data integration needs are focused on connecting on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications, such as ERP, CRM, CMS, CPM, Travel and other relevant systems. You’re accountable for developing and maintaining a Data Integration architecture Blueprint, Data Catalogue, Data Glossary etc. for the organization. You also act as an important link between our stakeholders and our competent developers.
Some of your responsibilities include:
• Provide expert advice to project teams
• Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact enterprise-wide development and architecture standards
• Provide oversight in standards adherence
• Oversee development and support of batch and back-end processes related to the application portfolio
• Define testing requirements together with the Quality Assurance and Testing Team and identify and interpret stakeholder’s needs and requirements
What we need from you!
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree in IT or has gained equivalent knowledge through work experience. Regardless of your background, you have extensive hands-on experience as a Data Architect and Developer within Azure like Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory and other major platforms. You’re familiar with Azure cloud services and have practical experience in agile working methodology. You feel comfortable working in and with large companies in an international setting, and as we act on a global scene, fluency in verbal and written English is a requirement, while Swedish skills are advantageous.
Your key to success in this role is the ability to balance the hands-on technical skills required, with being a motivating and thoughtful leader. This position also requires excellent communication skills, and you enjoy interacting with stakeholders on all levels – efficiently explaining complex tech terms in a clear way. You put things in perspective from both a macro and micro level, meaning you pay great attention to details while at the same time resonating with the bigger picture. Showing significant interest in keeping up to date with the latest technology, you're pushing us towards an even brighter technological future.
