Lead Data Engineer

Developing and optimizing our data pipelines, data collection, ETL-processes and data warehouse
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, other software engineers, devops and stakeholders across the business, to build solutions and data sets to enable new insights, and help them discover new opportunities.
Being the glue between engineering and analysis.
Scaling systems and platforms as we grow.
Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of our data with consideration on efficiency and performance.
Use state-of-the-art data processing frameworks, technologies and platforms to help the team achieve success.
Strong understanding of data engineering principles and technologies
Mentoring team members in data engineering principles and best practices
Ensuring to develop and maintain data engineering principles and best practices
Main point of contact for major data engineering projects and tasks
Partly responsible for developing the data engineering architecture and roadmap together with the head of analytics
