Lead DevOps to SEB in Stockholm

Drive and lead the DevOps services for the development of SEB:s brand-new payment platform as DevOps Lead in Stockholm!

The Payments and Reporting area is central to SEBs business and consists of several teams jointly contributing to the delivery of a scalable and robust payment platform. The payment platform is at the heart of SEB:s business, and involves many challenging and exciting technical solutions. Right now, we are rebuilding the platform with modern technologies to rid ourselves of our legacy. As Lead DevOps, you will collaborate with stakeholders such as development teams, architects, and a central DevOps organization to drive our area forward.

About the Position

We offer you the opportunity to create a unified delivery by collaboration, coaching and strategic decision-making in one of SEBs crucial business areas. You will be part of our Shared Service department, which supports the Payments and Reporting area with architects, business analysis, release- as well as test management and coordination. As the sole Lead DevOps, you are tasked with leading the implementation of DevOps practices across the whole area, with a focus on our non-functional requirements including security, performance, and reliability.

With a close collaboration with our architects, twenty-something development teams as well as our DevOps Center of Excellence, you will coordinate and create a joint delivery for our modernization. This involves acting as a mentor and guide to empower our teams building a reliable, secure, and efficient ecosystem.

Your Team and Workplace

The Shared Service department consists of 24 driven professionals providing the development teams with tools, processes, and guidance based on their specific needs. We are engaged and passionate, eager to both learn and share knowledge.

Our work follows agile ceremonies, and we are working according to a remote hybrid model - when we are not working from home, we have restaurants and a modern gym in the offices at Solna, Arenastaden

Your Profile

We believe you take responsibility for your work and are willing to coach, support, and lead colleagues in their work. You collaborate with others to understand different perspectives, making sure your area is working with a shared view and common goal in mind. Being perceptive for opportunities and requirements as well as communicating these are second nature for you.

Your past experiences have given you an understanding of driving work in an environment of complex architecture and high availability as well as high security demands. A background as a DevOps Engineer or SRE is positive, and you can generate solutions and plan strategically without being constrained by specific tools. With that said, it is meritorious with experience in application security, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring.
