The Game Assembly is a Higher Vocational Education that focus on education within game development. The Game Assembly was founded in Malmö, Sweden in 2008 and in 2019 the school opened its second location in Stockholm. For three years in a row, The Game Assembly has been ranked among the world's best game and design schools by The Rookies, a global community of game creators. The Game Assembly provide the game industry with employees who have in-demand skills, such as animators, technical artists, level designers, graphic designers and programmers. Today, almost 9 percent of all those who are professionally active in the game industry in Sweden were educated at The Game Assembly.
The position
The Game Assembly is looking for a new employee in game programming who can run and train our new programming education in UK. The work includes teaching, planning and design of courses, but the biggest focus is on giving the students the guidance they need.
The Game Assembly's new educational concept is based on giving the student a complete understanding of game programming through both theoretical knowledge and practicality.
The job is flexible, and you are given the opportunity to work from home and/or work at the school in Malmö or Stockholm. It will also be possible to travel to the UK to visit our partners and TGA new school. The training within game programming is carried out completely digitally.
Location: Remote, home-based and/or at office in Malmö/Stockholm
Employment Type: Full time and/or part time on agreement.

We are also looking for you who have:
• good knowledge of programming in C ++
• knowledge in object-oriented programming
• many years of experience in the games industry as a programmer
• experience of supervision
We see it as a bonus if you have:
• knowledge in Visual Studio
• knowledge of linear algebra
• has released one or more games
• experience in digital tutoring
