The team Power Plant Solutions NCE consists of an international team of Electrical Engineers. The Electrical Engineer's tasks are to support our customers in designing and building motivated and compliant wind power plants and track the changes on electrical grid requirements. This role will be focused on the Northern European markets with international opportunities, yet predominantly across the sales regions in Northern and Central Europe (NCE).
Responsibilities
Grid Connection Application procedures scouting & interpretations and management
Providing support o project development team in respect of grid connection application and preliminary electrical design management with focus on adding value to and supervising risk for the business
Negotiating requirements and preparation of contract documents to secure necessary grid agreements
Coordinating technical consultants in the preparation of the Preliminary Electrical Design (e.g. substation / collection system / electrical equipment sizing calculations and specifications / drawings) and related design interfaces (e.g. electrical/ SCADA/ civil)
Preparing and reviewing single line diagrams, layouts, schemes of measurements, controls and protection systems
Supervising technical meetings with consultants, contractors, grid operators & utilities



Qualifications
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position from development in power system or RES industry
Knowledge about grid connection applications and related requirements for power generation
Experience in working with about CAD software such as AutoCAD
Knowledge about HV and MV equipment, Energy Market and electrical stimulation SW and GIS tools
Profficient English language skills , both written and spoken

Ability to suggest alternative (more cost effective) grid connection solutions
Easiness to reallocate and adjust priorities in a fast-changing environment
Great communication and presentation skills
Good travel disposition (minimum 15% of time) in support of Company needs and overall business goals
High personal motivation and confidency, structured and service minded work style, result oriented, able to work both with no supervision with little supervision and with an international team
Able to multitask and prioritize daily work under a growing environment
