Lead Electronic HW engineer - The Go-To person

We are looking for a Lead Electronic HW Engineer


There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the Semiconductor & Computational Modules group located in Gothenburg.


Position description
You will be responsible for supporting all our HW component owners in all phases of the development. The range of your work tasks will be from circuit schematics to physical units.


In this job you will utilize your expertise in the area of circuit design, analysis and simulation as well as your knowledge about production processes and material.
Your support will be given during design reviews in front of supplier award, during the development phases and in late phases doing analyses of quality issues coming from the field. You will be the to-go-to-person when expertise in electronic components, package selection and substrate selection is needed.
To your help you will have your own lab where analysis can be performed, and test can also be performed in vehicles when you judge it needed.
There will also be activities such as, create and participate in the documentation of the electronic hardware design rules, or participate in investigations to secure CO2 sustainable solutions. Naturally you will have a continuous dialogue with our hardware verification group regarding new test methods for electronics.


To build and maintain the large network within the electronic hardware domain must be natural for you.


Qualifications
M.SC Electronics
Significant experience within R&D of electrical hardware design, analysis and simulation.
Good communication and presentation skills both written and spoken
Experience from SQE activities is a merit
