Who are we?


EEP Solution management is a diverse team based in Gothenburg that is part of the Electronic and Electrical Architecture (EEA) organization which governs and manages the EE Platform for trucks, its infrastructure, the related toolchain and a set of systems and functions. EEP is responsible to define, develop and maintain the full embedded system lifecycle as a platform from EE roadmap, change management to lean and agile EE portfolio and solution management.


What do we do?


We at Solution Management team in EEP guides and supports the product streams with their respective solutions and lean agile way of working to maximize the output and keep the platform consistency.


We propose needed updates or changes to the architecture and platforms to enable/facilitate new technologies for sustainability while supporting the current products.


Your mission:
In the position as Lead Embedded SW Application Engineer – EEP Solution management, you will, in close cooperation with the Solution Train Engineer, the Streams RTE's, stakeholders and the development teams across GTT, work on the synchronization and coordination of the streams by optimizing the tools, procedures and collaboration. The mission both consist of the actual tool development and optimization as well as stakeholder management and alignment.

You have experience working with the SAFe methodology and have a good understanding of the Volvo organization. You also have experience of working with visualization of the team’s progress, Power BI, Python and/or similar tools. We believe that you are knowledgeable in the embedded system, especially how the functions and services are realized through the application SW, the SW platforms (Volvo Autosar Platform, Linux, etc.), the electronics (ECUs) and the electrical components (sensors, actuators, etc.). You have some experience with the SW development process and tool chains (incl Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and a basic understanding of the challenges related to functional safety, cyber-security and data privacy.
