Position description:
You will be part of the Project Planning Management group reporting to the Planning Manager. The group is responsible for establishing an empowered and fully decentralized Project Planning Technical Development Department.
The aim is to ensure the highest quality of all plans, status reports and deliverables via dedicated subject Matter Experts within the TDC organization. The group will also establish a reference group of subject matter experts within TDC organization, facilitating regular meetings to ensure implementation of the planning process and maintenance of the Planning System.
Your role as the Lead Engineer within the group will be to carry the main responsibility of either the process or the system.
You will supply the organization with knowledge and coaching within planning, and ensure the roll out and implementation of the new planning system. You will develop in depth skills within the planning system or process to become a subject matter expert, but also to have insight into both. Within this role you will enable us to establish the knowledge center, and build the team.
A Lead Engineers role within the Project planning management group involves;
- To primarily coach, support and train the dedicated experts within the TDC organization,
- Being fully confident in planning management process, tools and system,
- To support maintenance of the planning process and system,
- To secondary support the planning management group within planning system, tools and other planning management tasks,
- To support management to be confident within the planning process.
Skills and required experience:
We are looking for someone who has;
- B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience within the Automotive industry, preferably within vehicle development, at least 5 years
- Project management skills and coaching skills
- English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
