Lead Engineer - Industrial Operations Digital

What’s in it for you?
This role is within our Industrial Operations Digital team, within the manufacturing sites cluster that supports our plants around the world. This position is at the VCPC Factory in Skövde, where we will build up a new organization to support our electrical engine manufacturing. 

What you will do:
You will be working closely with colleagues in the factory (engineering, operations & maintenance) to setup and coordinate the factory IT operations. This includes configuring and managing solutions with global product teams to enable factory devices, tools, and applications to work seamlessly. You will be coordinating the local Factory Support and report to the IT Site Manager for VCC Components. Next to that you will be supported by global specialists to harmonize local digital solutions to global standards.

Your Skills:
We believe you are user focused and passionate about solving problems, with an interest in software development/deployment and in staying up to date with new technologies. You have experience working with people management and leadership, as well as in collaborating successfully in global teams. You have a passion for agile ways of working especially in accordance too SAFe. You have a good understanding of IT delivery and the IT Landscape, as well as ITIL (Change/Incident/Problem Process). For this position you will need to be fluent in English and Swedish.
